Cell Phone Tricks and Tips
|Find a business location no matter
where you are. by Lyman Cox
Put the phone number 800 466-4411 in
your contact listings.
When you are looking for a
particular business (Home Depot, Wal Mart, Golden Coral, etc.) in an area
with which you are not familiar, it's easy to do with your cell phone.
A service provided by Google gets you in touch with the desired business
so you can get location instructions from the store itself. I used it
today for the first time and it worked flawlessly.
First, call 800 466 4411. An automated voice answers and asks what city
and state you are inquiring about. I said, "Albuquerque, NM". The voice
asked the name of the business you are seeking. I said, 'Mimi's Cafe".
The voice gave me the address and connected my call to the business
(Mimi's Cafe) I was seeking. The person at Mimi's gave me instructions
for getting to their restaurant.
Get highway closings, weather and construction
