Hi everyone.  Just a quick note to let you know that we have added two very special people to our groups.  They are Maxine and Michael Snelling.  They bring our group up to 70 now and there is still another couple to go (when we can connect and get their email address.)  I have been asked if I would include any messages or  ideas  folks may want to share with you all.  I have done so before and I loved doing so, and  want again to tell you YES, I would be very happy to get your messages out to others. I know this is not an official Evergreen function of communication but is ONLY an unofficial way for our family to share news and feel closer to each other. Anyone is invited to join in our "circle of Salutations/Touch of Home family" and can drop out if ever they may want to discontinue to be included.  As just a background of how this got started for those that don't know, it started when I was board president and I wanted the board to keep abreast of what all was happening in the park while they were away.  This was received quite well and all but one requested I keep it up.  This grew into what we have today and is sent to those who leave the park for a time, some who  have given up their lots and miss being here and want to know what is happening to all their friends they had to leave behind and just want to be involved. There is even those who stay in the park and just want to stay involved in the news.  I've reported on lots of fun things we've been doing, messages of one kind or another as requested, some sad news and just newsy ideas.  I try to check my resources but as you know, sometimes communication gets mixed but I can assure  you it is not with malice.  Also many of you know, my computer screen is 42 inches but  my eyesight is very limited and I make some funny mistakes that our precious spell check doesn't catch for me. That is why my favorite message is "angels can fly because they don't take themselves seriously".  Believe me I'm trying hard to earn those wings.  Life is short and boy do I want to fly away from the old guilt bugger that tries to rob us of so much joy.  So with that, I think I've brought you all up to date with everything since not much is going on right now.  The last BoD meeting was well attended and there will be at least one more that I know of in two weeks.  No parties either until Halloween.  So until next time......Please take good care of yourself and those you love.  Each and every  one of you is important to our families happiness.  Give lots of hugs and many smiles.  Hugs to you all.....Nancy

Wow!  We have just added another to our list of Salutation/Touch of Home family.  I am so happy to report that Kaak and Kevin Crawford are now one of ours, and they bring us up to 73.  They are so very welcome.  I understand they are  leaving for warmer weather tomorrow and we will really miss them but hey Kevin and Kaak, this way we can keep in touch.  Also one more thing to add.....I forgot to add to our last email that Barbara Schoenecker hosted both the birthday party for Don Tippola and the Ladies luncheon.  She does a fabulous job and we surely do owe her a lot for the fun she sets up for us.  That's it for this one.  Hugs to all and stay safe, happy and well.  Hugs, Nancy
