Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Race

Also known as the Baker to Baker race, the Baker, California to Las Vegas foot race is billed as the largest law enforcement athletic event in the world. Over 4,000 runners were registered. Each team has 20 runners that cover six mile legs of the 120 mile race until finished.

Each town along the way had spectators cheering on the runners. If you have ever traveled from Baker, California to Pahrump then to Las Vegas you can appreciate some of the steep grades these runners had to climb. Each team had motorized escorts.
